John Warren

John W. Warren is Director and Associate Professor, Masters of Professional Studies in Publishing program at George Washington University. Previously, he was Director of George Mason University Press/Mason Publishing. Warren has more than twenty-five years of management experience in publishing, including as Marketing and Sales Director at Georgetown University Press, Director of Marketing, Publications, at the RAND Corporation. He has a Masters in International Management from the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and a frequent speaker at international publishing conferences. He has authored several articles about publishing, including “Innovation and the Future of E-Books” (2009), for which he was the winner of the International Award for Excellence in the development of the book.
