Women in Literary Landscape: A Centennial Publication of the Women’s National Book Association is a collaboration of five female writers, one of whom, Rosalind Reisner will be here for the program, along with Tabitha Whissemore, the president of the WNBA-DC chapter and Linda Rosen, a South Florida chapter member, who wrote several sidebars for the book. This groundbreaking work gives the first-ever overview of the role of women in the industries surrounding the written word -- women writing the articles, women publishing the poetry, women selling the books, women organizing the libraries, etc. The contributions of these women are strung together in Women in the Literary Landscape and layered with pertinent social history.
